I can't believe it. I just can't believe it! I'm free ... free from student loan debt! Free. FREE! After 20 years (over half my life) of having student loan debt, I am debt free. I never thought this day would come. THANK YOU GOD!!!
I am a 30-something engineer and student loan slave, the Kunta Kinte of the modern day. I believe that knowledge is power, but that you shouldn't have to pay tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars for it as I did. Obviously if I got myself into this education debt mess, then I'm an idiot and everything I say should be doubted and questioned. As the great Leonard Bernstein said, "As a teacher, I have the right to be wrong."
